So there’s this band. They started out in their high school years just goofing around, playing shows on the weekend around their area. Once they graduated from high school, they didn’t really know where they were going to go. They released an EP and a full length during this time under Emerald Moon Records. They were signed by Hopeless on Valentine’s Day, released their EP, Put Up Or Shut Up, and a year later they released their full length under Hopeless Records, So Wrong, It’s Right. They spent their time opening up for bands like Cute is What We Aim For and Boys Like Girls, and even playing a few of their own small headlining tours. It wasn’t long before their name really started getting out there. They started selling out shows, headlining more tours, touring with even bigger bands such as Fall Out Boy. They’ve played the Van’s Warped Tour a few years in a row. They’ve played other large festivals as well, such as Bamboozle and Soundwave. They created a DVD filled with plenty of their ridiculous antics on and off stage, showing off the boys in their element and who they truly are when they’re together. They’ve made a connection with their fans both on and off stage. They’ve made kids love them, and they’ve found a way to make parents either love them or hate them. They don’t change who they are. They’ve stayed the same band since the day they started their band. They appreciate everyone who comes out to the shows and they put for the effort to try to meet each and every single person. They’ve brought people together, whether it be through the original All Time Low message boards, The Hustler Club message boards, or even just the appreciation of their music has brought people together.
Talk all the shit you may want, but this band deserves every little thing they have achieved and all of the things they have to look forward to in their future. This band is nothing but a group of boys who just want to make a difference in someone’s life. They’re not in it for the fame, or the fortune. They’re in it for the love of one thing, the thing that brings many people together, they’re in it for the music.
I cannot even imagine what my life would be like without this band. They’ve opened my eyes up to a whole new life. They’ve brought me some of the greatest friends I could ever ask for. They’ve taught me that I never have to fully grow up. They’ve shown me how to live my life, and how to love my life. They’ve gotten me through hard times that I never actually thought I’d be able to get through. They’ve given me a family that I never thought I would have. They’ve become a part of that family. They’ll mean the world to me forever and always, whether I call them my favorite band or not, they’ll always have a very special place in my heart that no one will ever be able to take away from them. I cannot thank this band enough for what they’ve brought me, what they’ve taught me, and what I’ve become because of them. I love them, so much, and I’m beyond proud at what they’ve become. <3
